12 Rounds (John Cena, Aiden Gillen, Ashley Scott)) – As I write this review, it’s been a week since I saw this movie that I wanted to call “forgettable.” Since I am having trouble remembering anything about this movie, I think I proved my point. This was just awful. The story centers on a cop, Detective Danny Fisher (played by John Cena, who has been in almost nothing except WWF Smackdown). He learns his girlfriend has been kidnapped by a bad guy whose girlfriend Fisher unintentionally caused to be killed. The bad guy (played by some actor named Aiden Gillen who has been in a lot of totally terrible movies) escapes from jail, kidnaps Fisher’s girl, and forces him into 12 challenges before he can get her back (right, like he’s ever going to get her back). The rest is just a bunch of crap as he destroys half the city to meet the ridiculous demands of the kidnapper. This $20 million stinker of a film only did $5 million in box office in its opening week as it heads for oblivion and video stores everywhere. End of story.
